GREETINGS!

The first half of the 2011-12 concert season has been enthusiastically received by appreciative audiences. I hope you have been able to attend at least one of these fine performances and will make plans to attend the three concerts coming up in the second
half of the season:

• February 12, 2012 Kenneth Bé, lutenist-music of the German baroque
• March 18, 2012 Indånde, American music for Winds and Piano
• April 22, 2012 American Chamber Players, music for large ensemble

Vesper Concerts has been called “Omaha’s hidden treasure.” We are working hard to UNhide the treasure. We have a new media sponsor (KVNO-FM), a season brochure, emailings, and a Facebook page each of which spreads the word about the concerts in a different way. We continue to work on new ways to increase our visibility and need your help.

The concerts and publicity are not without cost, even though it is our goal to continue offering this great music to the public without charge.

I hope that you will consider sending a donation to Vesper Concerts to help us as we continue to offer these unique musical events at no cost to the public and work even harder to spread the word about them. You can make a donation by following the PayPal link below, or go to the donation page and downloading a donation form and mailing a check.  Thank you.

I look forward to seeing you at a concert soon!

Dana Sloan, Series Director
