GREETINGS!
The 2011-12 concert season is complete and has been enthusiastically received by
appreciative audiences. I hope you will stay tuned to the Vesper Concert website and our Facebook page for news of the upcoming 2012-13, season. We are calling the first half of the season, "Fall Festival", and it will include:
• September 16, 3:00 p.m. J. S. Bach The Art of the Fugue
- October 7, 3:00 p.m. Diablito Tango, Music of Astor Piazzolla
- November 11, 3:00 p.m. Jay Peterson, organist
Vesper Concerts has been called “Omaha’s hidden treasure.” We are working hard to
UNhide the treasure. We have a new media
sponsor (KVNO-FM), a season brochure, emailings, and a Facebook page each of
which spreads the word about the concerts in a different way. We continue to work on
new ways to increase our visibility and need your help.
The concerts and publicity are not without cost, even though it is our goal to continue
offering this great music to the public without charge.
I hope that you will consider sending a donation to Vesper
Concerts to help us as we continue to offer these unique musical events at no cost to
